THE GUILD
The Loras Players Guild (aka The Guild, formerly The Guild of Saint Genesius, formerly Alpha Psi Omega) is the Loras College Honor Society for theatre.
This organization is meant to recognize the achievements and dedication of the individuals who support the Loras Players, its mission and affiliated programs. The Guild rewards members with greater creative freedom and leadership opportunities within the Loras Players.

While there are "perks" to Guild membership (trips to American Players Theatre, consideration for available theatre scholarships, invitation to the Guild Gala and Guildie Awards, etc.) we hold the highest reward of our work as the work itself. The Guild serves primarily as a production board, leading various crews and serving as an advisory and advocacy group for theatre programming on campus.
Loras students are invited to join The Guild at the conclusion of the regular academic year after accumulation of 100 "Player Points" for work with the Loras Players and/or theatre coursework.

Player Points
Loras students are awarded Player Points for partipation in college theatre activities. One-hundred (100) points are required for Guild induction eligibility. Seventy-five (75) points are required annually to maintain active membership. Player Points may vary by production and/or degree of involvement, and at the discretion of the Director of Theatre.
